So here we go...

A couple weeks ago I made reference to a big "reveal". Today is the day! SO excited!!! :)
Some history...

Last year I went through Financial Peace University. At that time, we realized we needed a little added income. I started doing some paperwork and billing stuff for Riverbend Anesthesia. Paul decided he may be interested in doing Home Inspections on the side. A few months passed and we signed him up for a Home Inspector Program. It took several months and a lot of hours on the computer, but he got through it. Then it kind of got put on the backburner.

So somehow it got brought up again and he decided to go along with doing Home Inspections, he may as well get certified in Radon Testing. One stop shopping for the home buyer. He signed up for a 2 day training and one day test in St. Paul, MN...hence the "family trip" to Minnesota last week.

We knew we needed some extra cash, so Paul made the very painful decision to sell his Camaro (see how my blogs are all coming together here!?!?). We bought all the thousands of dollars worth of equipment, sold the Camaro, attended the 2 day training and he took the final exam last Wednesday...only to be told he would have to wait at least a week for results. Although he felt fairly confident that he passed, it was a long 9 days. He got online today and there it was, the words PASSED in all capitals! :)

So this is the big reveal. As a second job (because one just wasn't enough!), we are now proud to introduce you to Pearl City Home Inspections (click on it to check out our in-process website!).

We have a logo, a website, business cards, a new cell number and bank account and a lot of insurance! :) If you know anyone who is buying a home or would be interested in a radon test, you now know where to go!! I know I know, the excitement is killing you. But we are very excited about this and have put in hours upon hours of leg work here getting this thing up and going, so humor me!
