i think i love the anticipation the most.
waiting for the kids to get off the bus.
for paul to walk in the door from work.
as soon as i wake up in the morning on friday, i want to start chanting.
it's friday...woot woot...we're gonna party...woot woot...on friday...woot woot...i'm so excited...woot woot.
ya know, just a regular ole friday chant. (you know you do it, too, right?)
anyway, it's friday. and we have the holiday stroll tonight. lani is singing with all the 1st graders from franklin school.
but i have this nagging gut feeling that ayla's getting sick.
i didn't really want to say it out loud, but i'm pretty sure she is.
just laying around...whiney...tired...cold.
paul even came home from work and took one look at her and said, "she looks awful."
and she does.
so we'll wait and see. we may have to split up tonight. some to the stroll and some at home.
either way...it's friday. which is just plain happy in and of itself.
2 full days with my kids and my husband.
