Good thing #423 about have older kids and a baby...

When I found out I was pregnant with Ayla, I kinda freaked.
I felt like I was past the baby stage with 2 kids ages 4 and 6.
Now we were going to head back into the world of babies and I wasn't ready!
But little did we know what was in store for us.
Ayla just fit right in.
And my most unexpected joy was the interaction between older kids and babies.
I never saw this with Brigg when Lani was born because he was still a baby himself.
So it has been so fun watching the bond form between these 3 kids.
Brigg can READ to her and HOLD her.
Lani MOTHERS her (sometimes she's an overbearing mother though!)
It's just so completely different this time.
And I love love love it.
It's like I get the best of both worlds...big kids in all their glory and a baby, too!

(yes, Lani has on a sundress in December. A girl can dream, right?!?)

I can't even stand it! I love them SO MUCH and cannot wait to see them this weekend! (and you guys too!) :) And this post does make me feel a little bit better about the fact that Tate is going to be a bit "older" when he has a sibling.

that's so true! this is the first one i've experienced that with..."rebekah, hold sawyer while i wipe bailey." it's the BEST! she loves it, he loves it, and i love it! everyone is happy! (your kids are so adorable/handsome/beautiful, by the way)
