Twas the night before Christmas Eve...

Tomorrow is our big day.
The kids have gifts under the tree that have been there since Nana and Papa B sent them home with us at thanksgiving.
They are DYING to open them.
And Brigg is just happy to be a on break from school (he is showing me how happy in the above photo!)
We read chapter 3 of our Christmas book.
We wrote Christmas letters to the kids we sponsor in Liberia and Sierra Leone.
We drank hot cocoa with a candy cane in it.
And now that the kids are fast asleep, Paul and I have been working on installing our new backsplash.
That meant chipping away at old tile forever.
Not fun. But we'll call it bonding time.
I still have gifts to wrap, groceries to buy and food to prepare.
I am hitting the bank, the carpet store, the grocery store and a couple other places in the morning.
The last minute rush to finish things up!
It will be over before we know it and Brigg will be off to sunny Florida for the rest of break.
I'm going to miss him. We all are....
