Love it! Just a thought....we just did a giant chalkboard with magnetic paint underneath in our kitchen. We used the best kind of magnetic paint and only the super powerful (expensive)magnets worked on it. It also made the chalkboard rough and much more difficult to write on and erase. I had a spare piece of board w/o the magnetic underneath and it worked SO much better for writing and erasing with chalk. I am really frustrated with the big board now, so I thought I would share my experience with you. Half and half might work for your project, but personally I wouldn't recommend the magnetic paint underneath the chalkboard paint. Maybe others have had a better experience??? And, do use some kind of primer under the chalkboard paint. Can't wait to see your finished project. This will be a great memory for your daughter!
oooo...thanks for the tip. we will re-think this part!
Love the fabric.... it is going to be SO darling, can't wait!! :)
