It was the first day of Lani's 2nd and last year of preschool.

I think she was kind of confused.
When I picked her up, she said, "So I get to go to Kindergarten tomorrow?"
Um...no. You get to go to Kindergarten next YEAR.
"How long is next year?"
365 days, honey.
"Oh. That's a long way."
Yes. Thank goodness.

Today was Roxy's first day. It's a good thing she has a whole year before kindergarten because we have a lot to accomplish before then.
