I hate to break it to you, we had the same thing happen when we were kids and that stuff was not coming out. Oh, well, don't sweat the small stuff. And would you keep an eye on those kids! You know I am kidding.

freeze it with ice and scrape off with butter knife (never tried it, just guessing here)
