but unfortunatley, close doesn't count. apparently the winner of the HGTV 2008 dream home currently resides in solon, IA...a mere 45 miles from here! oh well...maybe next year.

I watched it last night when they announced. I swear she didn't seem one bit excited. I don't even think she smiled throughout the whole thing. You would have been a much happier winner :)
