I did cupcakes instead of a cake this year.
Took me about half the time.
And the cake part was 10 times yummier than the box mix I used last year.
One problem.
In my last-minute planning, I didn't plan candles.
Lani tried to tell me at the store this morning to get candles,
but I told her we had some in the drawer.
I was wrong.
So we sang to Brigg and I told him to pretend to blow out a candle.
He obliged.
