Late last night Lisa mentioned in an email that she had today off.
I wrote back that we'd love to come visit for the day.
She thought that would be a great idea.
So we dropped Brigg off at school and the girls headed out on a 2 hour road trip!
Lani and Macy played and played and played.
For 4 hours.
Ayla whined and whined and whined.
For 4 hours.
Oh, and she ate a little bit, too.

We spent the whole time out in the backyard.
Talking, playing, eating and laughing.
It was a great, spontaneous trip.
Another good day for the soul.
