Today is world AIDS day.
You don't have to look far to find ways you can help.
I have found that if you just allow your eyes to be opened, your heart will soften.
Clean water, the orphan, HIV, AIDS, malaria, foster care, your elderly neighbor....the list goes on and on.
Let your eyes open to something. The rest just follows.
But it's a choice.
And days like World AIDS Day are important. Because we get to make a choice. It's everywhere we look today. Are we going to turn and look the other way? Or will we pause and slow down and really think about what it means to mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters across the world that they cannot get the medication they need to treat this disease.
It's a choice.
Today and the rest of this week, I'm choosing to support this cause.
Today I'm choosing not to turn the other cheek.
